A wide range of after sales services is available in order to ensure our customers make full use of their power equipment for the duration of the equipment’s design life.
Following delivery, connection and commissioning of any UPS unit, our engineers will train your staff on all the operational features of the UPS. This will include switching the UPS ON and OFF, activating the by-pass facility, reading and understanding the various information on the UPS display, when to use the EPO (Emergency Power Off) switch, what to do in case of an alarm and how to identify the alarm from the LCD screen, how to determine the autonomy of the UPS and some basic maintenance routines for your system.
GE pluggable models are offered with a two year warranty on Parts (including batteries) & Labour / return to base basis (contact us for details).
Hardwired units are offered with a one year Parts & Labour warranty including one preventive service visit.
Parts & repairs are provided with a six months warranty.
Warranty is subject to the equipment being used and operated within the manufacturer’s operational guidelines and is also subject to the terms and conditions provided in the operational manual.
Maintenance Contracts & Per call service
Preventive maintenance is essential for the proper operation of the UPS in an effort to achieve maximum uptime. UPS and other power protection equipment have consumable parts with factory specified design life. Batteries, fans and capacitors all must to be replaced at a specified time. Random component failure or other alarm conditions may need to be addressed with speed.
A UPS maintenance contract, offered for Parts & Labour or Labour Only, will ensure a speedy response in an emergency and allow our engineers to keep record of what is required by your equipment.
- A maintenance contract provides:
- Technical support hotline, working days or 24/7.
- Emergency response within specified time.
- Parts & Labour (excluding end of life replacement of consumables) or Labour Only cover.
- Plan for battery replacement.
- Plan for fan and capacitor replacement.
- Annual preventive maintenance visits (one or more, according to terms).
- Battery testing.
- Remote monitoring facility (optional iUPS Guard).
